Novo Fogo Colibri, $35
Colibri means “hummingbird” in Portuguese; it’s a fitting name for this new, limited edition run of cachaça. Novo Fogo Colibri will disappear in the blink of an eye, thanks to a small run of only 2,400 bottles, set to hit the shelves on October 1. Aged by moving the spirit back and forth from repurposed American oak to Brazilian amburana barrels, the amber-hued cachaça is rich, nutty and full of spice.
