If you check into the The Cove at Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas this summer, not only will you get access to their fabulous water park, and a fifth night free promotion – you’ll also get complimentary scoops of a boozy signature ice cream. Developed by Tipsy Scoop, New York City’s liquor-infused ice cream shop, the Guava Lime Cocktail Ice Cream is a vegan coconut base infused with rum and guava.
Tipsy Scoop has been serving up adults-only ice cream for years from its New York area “Barlors” or via mail order– but perhaps driven by everyone’s newfound desire for fun, it’s expanding into Boston this summer, along with popping up in the Bahamas.
Not ready to travel? Or maybe you prefer vodka or gin in your spiked frozen treats? No problem. OddFellows Ice Cream Co. just introduced a slew of new flavors inspired by cocktails from some of the world’s best bars, including Two Schmucks in Barcelona and Maybe Sammy in Sydney— and they’ll ship them directly to your door.
“Enjoying a world-class cocktail in a beautiful bar is the absolute best,” says OddFellows Co-Founder Mohan Kumar. “We wanted to capture that experience and celebrate our hospitality industry peers with this boozy capsule.” Of course, the idea is bittersweet … many of us haven’t been able to sit at a bar for more than a year – and the hospitality industry is suffering for it. To that end, the shop will be donating 10 percent of the sales from the six alcohol-laced flavors to Another Round Another Rally, a nonprofit that provides grants and immersive educational scholarships, as well as emergency assistance to workers in the hospitality industry.
Boozy Ice Cream Is Everywhere, Just In Time For The ‘Summer Of Fun’
